7 Must Haves for your Next Red Eye
Unpopular opinion, but I actually really love taking red eye flights. It’s a great time saver, can save on hotels, and if you can get a good night’s sleep, can leave you ready to explore a new city bright and early. Here are my must-haves for my red eye flights.
1. Lululemon Vinyasa Infinity Scarf
The Lululemon Vinyasa Scarf is your solution to fluctuating airplane temperatures, red eye flights, and shoulder coverings in religious temples. This scarf has snaps down the middle and can be buttoned and used as an infinity scarf, or can be unbuttoned and used as a blanket or pillow. The material is soft and high quality. I swear by these so much that they were my bridesmaid gifts when I got married.
2. Bucky 40 Winks Eye Masks
I’m on my 4th one of these, and not because it’s poor quality, but because I use it so often. Originally recommended by Tim Ferris, I’ve become reliant on this eye mask and even use it when I’m at home.
3. Trtl Travel Pillow
The newest in travel pillow chic. If you’re on Tik Tok, you’ve probably seen this on your feed. This travel pillow is designed a bit like a neck brace, and it’s meant to reduce neck pain and lead to a more comfortable sleep. I’ve tried every travel pillow in the book and this wins for most comfortable and easiest to pack.
4. Bombas Compression Socks
I didn’t realize the benefit of compression socks until recently. Compression socks gently apply pressure to your legs to promote better blood circulation. When you’re stuck in an airplane for hours, especially in the middle or window seat, compression socks will help reduce possible swelling and that achy feeling you get when you don’t move for awhile. I love this pair by Bombas.
5. Evian Facial Spray
We all know that groggy feeling we get when we wake up after a mediocre night sleep, especially in a strange place. Using this Evian facial spray is a great refreshing way to instantly feel better.
6. Apple Airpods
If you don’t already have these, I doubt my blog post is going to change your mind, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t on the list. I used to travel with the Bose Quiet Comfort 25, but they were always so hard to pack due to the size of the carrying case. These are compact and I swear work just as well if not better for noise cancelling. Click here to see on Amazon.
7. CreaDream Adustable Phone Stand
Something that every single person on a flight wishes they have but never thinks about in advance. So here’s your sign to purchase this now and keep it in your carry on for the next time you want to binge watch Friends at 35,000 feet in the air. Click here to buy on Amazon.
